The Director of the Sierra Nevada Conservancy may want to brag about her team's work on the North Yuba projects, the first of the Biden-era full.watershed projects to launch. Yay us.
The Governor's Office of Planning and Research brought their work on insuring the fire-threatened to the table. I am curious about whether it was OPR or the CalFire gang, Forest Service, or some unknown University of California brainiac that recognized avoided CO2 on the forests' balance sheet, and brought in.the Climate Fund to take a piece of the True Green values that our logging is producing.
Washoe Forests Carbon Bank. Think on that. Green gold grows on and under the trees of the recovering Forests. And in the forests' wetlands and meadows.
We are experiencing all around, & even in Spokane, Washington. I have 2 dear friends friends who run River's Wish Animal Sanctuary, 60 acres of love, respect, & honor of all animals; with every animal that needs a forever home finding it there. Anyone I have ever brought there has come away in awe of that honor.
They had to bring all the cows & horses out of the fields last night. But so far today are doing ok. Say a few prayers, please.
